Update after alterations:My alterations included taking the dress in, hemming about 5 inches, chopping the train, adding boob cups, moving some lace on the skirt, and shortening the straps. I uploaded some pictures after alterations. I'm wearing a petticoat (Grace Karin brand, from amazon) under the dress. 5'4" and wearing flats.Updated review:I ordered a size 6, in ivory, customized with a higher back. (last two photos attached to review.) I gave them very little direction and just asked for the back to be about level with the bust. The custom dress is everything I wanted!! There is more lace on the skirt (maybe a consolation for covid19 related delays). The higher back is much more supportive, even without me zipping it all the way up.The new dress seems very slightly more ivory toned than the first one. I'd call it a soft white rather than a true white like the first order. The lace embroidery on the skirt is placed a little lower on the skirt, so it doesn't look as much like it's cascading down from the bodice. Probably needed to do this because the lace embroidery is in larger pieces. Basically, don't expect it to look exactly like reviewer photos.If you're ordering a petticoat to go with this dress, you'll need one with a smooth or soft top layer. I tried it with a petticoat with stiff netting, and you can see it through the lining of the dress. The dress doesn't need a petticoat, but the extra shape is nice.Original review:I ordered a size 6 in ivory. It is very true to size for wedding dresses. Slightly smaller than street size 6, but not as small as some size 6 wedding dresses I've tried on. My bust measurement is about 35" and my waist is 27". The ivory is very bright white and not ivory at all.Overall, it's a very good quality for the price. But this will not compete with $500+ dresses. The lace is not closely trimmed, you can see the seam at the back of the skirt. The edge of the skirt is not super cleanly cut. There are two layers of tulle and a shiny satin-y lining. If you look closely, your can tell it was cheap. But you have to look closely. The lace itself is a very nice quality. The stitching was done well. The top of the dress has more attention paid to it. The lace is trimmed more carefully.The back of the dress is very low. The v of the straps don't come together before the waist/skirt part. Th entirely open back means you don't get much support in the front. There is a little flexible boning in the front, but it doesn't do much.This dress would be highly improved with additional boning in the front and a slightly higher back (even 2 inches up would help).Additionally, I really think the seller should offer this with a blush lining. It would look great against the white lace and look much more like the product photo. Blush dresses are very popular right now and hard to find at this price point.The bra cups are a slightly awkward shape on me, but my alterations person is going to add some boning and bring the back up to give me more support and make the front more flattering.I am 5'4" and will be wearing flats. I'll need it hemmed about 5 inches (without a petticoat, slightly less with one). There is some extra lace in the front that we will add to the back with additional tulle to help provide the support needed.The full body pic on me has a petticoat underneath. It doesn't make a huge difference in poof, but does give the dress more shape. I'll add more photos after my alterations are done.This dress is exactly what I ordered. I am normally a size 2 and I ordered an 8. I am getting alterations done on it. 10/10 recommend for someone who can afford a normal wedding dress.Beautiful dress, just didn't fit On the top. Great communication too!I chose to go a different route but I appreciated all their help!Very pretty dress with a moderately full skirt and a good amount of tulle. The first picture looks like a single layer of chiffon which is not the case, but this dress is really lovely. The second picture on the mannequin is more accurate. I'm 5'8" and there's a few inches on the bottom so the length is plenty. There's a small train. The cups are VERY obvious and kind of strange looking, at least on me, and I'll be removing them and lining the top instead. The lace on the skirt is barely visible through the tulle but it's very pretty. Feels well made, overall really nice and the sizing was pretty accurate. I bought this dress in two sizes and one version (the same dress) is prime, from the same seller, and the other charges additional shipping on top of the dress cost so that's confusing and unpleasant, but otherwise this dress is really nice and I can't wait to wear it! Very very nice for the price point.EDIT:I just received the other size that I ordered and it's a completely different dress. The top is lined, a different color than the first, the straps are a different length, the lace is a different pattern, the train is shorter, there's boning and it's not even the size that I ordered. The sticker says new and I paid the new price, but it's obviously been opened and returned, possibly after being altered or custom made for someone. And it smells weird.. I was very impressed with the first dress, but this is more what I expected from trying to buy a wedding dress on Amazon. Disappointment.This is a beautiful dress though I need to return it It does not fit as it seems on the picture The top of the dress is very loose, I feel the arms are not made quite right and unfortunately is not as fitting as I would have liked. The flow of the lace in the front is too long Even though I thought I might be able to have it altered I don't think it will be able to Though it is is beautiful material, and I would like to keep it it's just not going to work for me.I bought this dress and didn't know what to expect. Like everything with my wedding, it exceeded my expectations. The dress was so well made and was beautiful out of the box. I ended up adding pink and champagne tool to make it blush and also had savorski crystals. The only issue with the fit was the back which I had fixed by a seamstress and it was perfect. Also suggest adding a hook and eye. For the price, it can't be beat and I got a fully customized dress for 500 bucks after all was said and done. The original dress I wanted was over 3k. Totally a great buy and super well made.The dress was perfect once I had alterations done. 5 inches was cut off, a hook added, waist let out, hemmed, straps adjusted, train altered, lace moved around. There was a thin section in the middle were lace wasn't put but my boutique covered it. Overall nice dress for the price. Alterations cost me $175.00 more than the dress cost.The dress fit pretty perfect and looks great. The only thing the I didn’t like about the dress is that it does cut into your shoulders a bit. It’s not unbearable and could probably be an easy fix though. The dress took a while to arrive but not an unreasonable amount of time. For the price an quality I’d say it’s a worthwhile purchase.Reçut ma robe avant le temps prévu ! Très belle et de qualité très surprenante pour le prix payé !
