I am typically a size 8 and Medium dresses fit me well, however this one was very unflattering. It definitely "fit" in the sense that I could fit into it and comfortably zip the zipper. However, it hugged every roll and accentuated all of my flaws in my mid-section, leaving very little to the imagination. I had the sense from the photos that it would be snug, but still flattering, and that just wasn't the case for me. I honestly don't think even a larger size would help because of the way the middle is designed. The material is fine, and I do really like the asymmetrical design of the top part of the dress. It's a good length as well, as it hits just below my knees (I'm 5'5"). I just can't get past how tight it is in the middle!
